Laura founded Foxton Locks Lodges in 2012 after living in London for 7 years. Working as a Chartered Surveyor. She decided to move back to Leicestershire to start a business on the family farm. Having a love for travel and tourism it seemed a natural fit that she would do something in this industry. Noticing a gap in the local market for holiday accommodation the idea of Foxton Locks Lodges was dreamt up. She was involved in the design outside and in of all the cabins and very much enjoyed the shopping for all the interiors! She has made sure each cabin has its own distinct style so it doesn’t all feel too commercial and corporate.

Laura is involved in the day to day running of the cabins including marketing, PR, website design, Social Media and Accounts. She is the point of contact for guests when they are staying and always tries to greet the guests personally on arrival. – if she doesn’t make it up, Bridget (Mum!) will come and greet.
